Helen McGinnis is a freelance photographer and editor from North Carolina.

A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, Helen served as the Photographic Services Intern for the Indianapolis Colts during the 2023-2024 season. Prior to that, she was the photo editor for the Daily Tar Heel. She was also responsible for photographing UNC athletic events for Go Heels, the University’s athletic communications department. Most recently, Helen was the Photography Coordinator at Wake Forest Athletics. She is currently a software developer in Charlotte, NC and does remote photo editing for LIV Golf.

Known for her vibrant use of color and intense raw emotions, her photos tell stories louder than words.
